How to use Scan Document

Use your phone's camera to capture a physical document, straighten and clean it up automatically, and combine every page into one PDF — no separate scanner needed.

  1. 1Start scanning and point your camera at the document.
  2. 2Adjust the corners if the automatic detection needs a nudge, then pick Original, Auto, Grayscale or Black & White.
  3. 3Scan more pages, or reorder, rotate and remove any page.
  4. 4Create the PDF and download it.

Common questions

Does it fix a wonky, angled photo?

Yes. Dragging the four corners onto the document's edges straightens the perspective automatically, the same way a flatbed scan would look.

Can I scan more than one page?

Yes. Keep tapping "Scan another page" — all of them are combined into a single PDF in the order you choose.

Do I need to allow camera access?

Yes, your browser will ask once. If you'd rather not, you can import existing photos instead.

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

This tool runs entirely inside your browser. Your file is never uploaded to a server, so nothing leaves your device.
